Who we are?
1976 marks the beginning of a successful initiative in humanitarian organization to help the community of Niger - SOS Sahel International Niger. After changes in the 90 years of the 20th century the organization was transformed into CRAC-GRN it is made experience of decentralization of some basic functions to focus on specific problems and mobilize the most appropriate staff and resources to address them. Thanks to that today CRAC-GRN has extensive experience and developed a variety of strategies, projects and successful initiatives aimed at improving living conditions in the Sahel.
The most serious humanitarian crisis in Niger was in 2012, when the life of this already extremely poor people threatened by severe and prolonged drought. In initiatives for fundraising, donations and physical on-site support includes voluntary organizations around the world. In this case, long practice and experience contribute to the significant contribution of CRAC-GRN in support of the local population not only humanitarian assistance but also in many other aspects of social and economic life.
